What are the career options after completing Diploma in polytechnic?

Well, if you have gained perfection which is satisfactory in Diploma itself, you will be able to do a job in your stream. If you think that the perfection you gained is not satisfactory, you can join B.Tech so that your standard of qualification maybe improved.
