Hi Aditya,
Candidates who want to pursue Masters degree programmes in science should have completed three-years Bachelor degree programme in a related stream from a recognized university.
Some universities specify a cutoff or minimum marks that one should have in graduation to be eligible for the M.Sc programmes they offer. Others might ask applicants to appear for entrance exams or interviews or both to prove their competence and knowledge in the subject area they choose.

Career Prospects:-
A two-year programme, an M.Sc programme can either be academic in nature for those who want to pursue teaching or research as a career, or may be application-based, for those who want to join an industry after completing the course.
While an academic M.Sc programme can lead to further studies or a doctoral-level science programme in related field worldwide, an applied science M.Sc programme is usually considered a terminal degree abroad.
