After B.Sc Hons Physics there are following career options:
(a) M.Sc-PhD to join as R&D professional
(b) B.Ed to become a teacher
(c) Lateral entry admission in B.Tech
(d) MCA
(e) M.Sc CS / IT
(f) MBA
(g) LLB
(h) Master in Social Works
(I) Master in Mass Communication
(j) Civil Services Examination conducted by UPSC
(k) SSC exam for subordinate services
(l) CDS examination conducted by UPSC
(m) Asst Commandent exam conducted by UPSC for paramilitary forces.
(n) PO and clerical services examinations of Public Sector, etc. -

If you are determined to be a researcher you can opt for MS Physics and then a Ph.D. Among the many branches of Physics you must choose the branch which interests you and you are best in. Take part in research work and start contributing in science journals from a young age for a strong foundation.
