What are the career options for a commerce graduate interested in economics

i\'m doing my b.com, & I want to pursue something in economics. Now i want to do m.com and then go for a Ph.d in economics.Is it a good plan?

Its a very good plan if you wish to make career as a professor and devote your life to education sector. Perhaps, you may also explore possibility of appearing for UPSC / MPSC exams while doing further studies and if successful, you would be entitled to have another interesting career option.
