There are various career options like Agricultural Engineer. Many people don't think of farming as being sophisticated but there are so many aspiring career options such as:
Animal Scientist.
Biochemist and Biophysicist.
Biomedical Engineer.
Epidemiologist.
Food Scientist and Technologist.
Microbiologist.
Soil and Plant Scientist. -
If you are interested, contact faculty members. Few are supportive and would definitely guide you to start a project n all. Obviously, not all. Contact your seniors. If they are working on a project, have a discussion about your ideas, have a problem statement and there you go.Work hard to get the project done. It's not like you need to do a project only in final year. That practice is the worst. Start in second year itself. If you plan to join NITW, start as follows:
1st year: Contact seniors. After completion try get a training at least of 1 month.
2nd Year: Discuss your own project. Aim one for each semester. Try for winter internship...more
