2. Chartered Accountancy (C. A)
Chartered Accountancy is one of the internationally accepted professional courses. You can work in streams such as auditing, tax consulting, corporate finance, investment banking, corporate finance, investment banking, etc. You can find lucrative jobs in both government and private sectors. Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) conducts exams, which are accepted internationally. After your 12th standard, you need to go through the following steps to become a Chartered Accountant:
Step 1: Register yourself with the ICAI, and clear the Competency Professional Test (CPT). Step 2: Clear the Integrated Professional Competence (IPC) Course Exam in one or both groups. Step 3: Undergo articleship for 3 years under a practicing CA or a CA firm. Step 4: After or during the completion of your articleship, clear the CA Final to gain your CA certification.
3. Company secretary
Company secretaries take care of the efficient administration of the business. They advise on company laws and takes care of all other legal decisions. It is a professional course dealt with by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). There are three stages in the CS Course Foundation programme, Executive programme, and Professional programme. After passing the executive programme, you have to undergo 15 months of practical training. On completion of the programme and its requisites, you will join as an Associate Member of the ICSI and will be given the designation of Associate Company Secretary (ACS). There are so many other fields where you can find opportunities such as Banking, Accounting, Stockbroking, Economics, Statistics, etc.
