Medical Colleges and Medium to large hospitals such as AIIMS, Manipal, Sri Chithira Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences etc. have postitions for Biomedical Engineers. BioMedical Engineers are also employed by medical instrument firms and agencies in positions such as Marketing and Service Engineers. Opportunities also exist in academics. There are more opportunities abroad than in our country.
