    I also get a similar doubt several times. I find a good number of courses Fancy Courses. Their study does not lead to any Academic benefit also.

    Well Prerna, if you have to pursue courses then do in a field where you acquire skills rather than knowledge. Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. Sometimes student Artists are too much enamoured by Fine Arts preventing them to look objectively at Design. They must read this http://bit.ly/SXc9GD. Again like science it pays to be at the cutting edge. For e.g. science students do better if they go for CS or IT since that are areas where development is taking place rapidly.
