A degree in BBA equips students with the basic knowledge about corporate management and skills that help them understand the diverse functioning of a company. BBA graduates can find jobs in the sales and marketing divisions of organisations as members of sales teams or as management trainees. There are companies that recruit fresh BBA graduates, which can be a great learning opportunity for the latter. Armed with work experience, students with a BBA background can pursue Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and gain specialisation in a specific management domain, though one might also follow up the BBA degree straight ahead with an MBA programme.

BBA is nowadays equivalent to any other graduate degrees. If you complete only BBA, you will be eligible to apply for the same jobs, for which any graduate is eligible. So, if you want to stand out from others, complete MBA after your BBA. Just take care that you get at least first class in all your exams. And do your MBA from any AICTE approved college/institute. There are many organizations, which offer MBA & they claim that their degree is approved by UGC. But for technical courses (which includes MBA), they need two approvals - one from UGC and one from AICTE. The degrees without the AICTE approval will be invalid for many jobs, including Government jobs and academic jobs. If you don't want to join MBA, you can also go for professional courses like Chartered Accountancy (CA), Company Secretory (CS) or Cost Accountancy (ICWA). They also have bright scope. After completing BBA, the candidates can join as executive trainee/management trainee in any of the following sectors: Advertising agencies, Banking, finance, consultancy, IT companies, Consumer durable companies and FMCG, The candidates can also do some professional courses like ICWAI, CA, etc The candidates can do master degree courses like MCA. The candidates can take up part-time jobs and they can do some computer courses in the spare time. If they feel that their English communication skills is not good, they can go for some English speaking courses, which will be of great help to their future. The BBA graduates can get jobs in different sectors like human resources, accounting, finance, information systems, real estate entrepreneurship etc and the choice is endless. If the candidates can develop good programming skills, they will be able to get placement in multinational companies. If the candidates are interested in getting into government services, they can take up UPSC examinations like civil service examination, National Defense Academy examination, etc
