MBA in conscious learning is important. Specialization papers gave more theoretical exposure to those functional areas.
Work more on the core areas of it. It'll not affect anyway of your career.

You are essentially talking about two functions, which are totally different. I always maintain that HR professionals are born and not made. If your strength is finance, then you should focus on making your career in finance. There will be definitely be a query as to why you narrowed down on HR for
