    All major process industries have to have fire & safety department. You have prospects in process and hydrocarbon industries. Oil & Gas processing units, refineries, fertilizer complexes need engineers with specialized courses on Fire Safety engg.

    Fire engineering is very daring and dangerous profession which requires carefulness and lots of dedication to do the work perfectly. It utilizes the principles of Engineering and sciences to protect people from dangerous scenarios. It helps one understands the phenomena of fire and the effect of it.
    Opportunities
    Engineers of this field can go in any sector either government or private according to their interest and choices. They can also get employed in other industries such as chemical or inflammable products manufacturing firms like petroleum refineries, textiles, fertilizers, etc.

    There are less job opportunities in this field. If you want to go instant good jobs then you will have to look for some popular streams like cse, ece . Check it out from some good colleges like RV, LPU, RAI etc
