    The scope of Journalism & Mass communication in India is wide, if you can do well in your field, you can work with some of the best publishing houses, production houses, news channels, radio channels or PR firms of the country. From advertising to Journalism to Public Relations, a student can opt for any field he likes. After completing Bachelor in Journalism & Mass Communication B.J. M. C. you can go for the various job profiles as mentioned below:

    Masters in journalism and mass communication is a traditional course done after graduation in any stream. India now has this degree offered through distance mode as well. There are known colleges, as well as new colleges that offer this degree. The two-year degree has the knowledge of print, electronic and new media. It also covers Developmental Communication and Public Relations, Advertising, etc. The careers in the above-mentioned domains have surely got good careers.

    As the name itself suggests, mass communication deals with a wider range of media to communicate different stories, messages, facts or statistics to the public. Courses in advertising, film making, television, journalism, etc. Fall in this bracket. Journalism, on the other hand, is specific to delivering news to public through mainly two platforms, I. e. print media or electronic media. Print media or print journalism largely covers newspapers and magazines while electronic journalism is the reporting of news through television and radio.
