What are the career prospects in India and abroad for MBA Innovation Management / Entrepreneurship?

MBA in Entrepreneurship is one specialization which not only offers you a chance to enter into any industry of your choice, but it also lets you create a demand for a product/service which does not exist in the marketplace yet. It was after the global financial crisis of 2008, that the world and India struggled to create employment for the growing population. There was a crying need to create employment opportunities at all levels and hence, entrepreneurship became an attractive option to save the lives of people in crisis. With such tremendous change in the economic activity, not just the world but even India has witnessed a wide array of entrepreneurial activity in the recent years, with many success stories further fueling the ambitions of many budding entrepreneurs. By pursuing this course you can enter any industry such as: - Automobile - Advertising - Agriculture - Banking - Cement - Small and Medium Enterprise management - Fashion - Cinema - Information Technology - Insurance - Mining - Oil and Gas - Digital Media - Retail - Real Estate - Telecom - Tourism Whichever industry you choose to associate with, would not stop you from learning the processes and function that are involved in it.

Hi, career prospects in MBA Entrepreneurship or Innovation is wide but if it is worth it and if it works out for you depends on you. MBA Entrepreneurship or Innovation Management is ideal for those who plan to start their own business, run a family business and those who will be taking over a small organization and work towards its growth. Job roles include Entrepreneur, Start ups, Innovation Project Manager, Idea Management Specialist, Consultant, Evangelist/Change Manager and so on. There is a difference between business and entrepreneurship- the latter focusing more on managing yours and others' talents and more into leadership.Just like it is hard to assess whether a business is going to succeed or not it is difficult to give a statistics on how far you will go with an Entrepreneurship degree. Information on salary packages is not easy to give in this regard. Despite many foreign countries having strict work permit rules for foreigners , graduates with an entrepreneurship degree are always given the due amount of flexibility and resources, for example in UK. One needs to go through immigration and work permit norms in different countries to know about the rules and regulations for an MBA with a Entrepreneurship specialization.
