    Diploma in architecture is 3 years long Diploma certificate programme. This course can be pursued by students who have cleared 10th standard as well as 12th standard - science stream/mathematics group. Important tasks for an architect are - designing and planning of the building, cost estimation, estimation of quantity and quality of raw materials required, securing the services of labourers and workers (prepare contract whenever required), submit plan at relevant municipal department and getting it approved, supervising project, guiding workers and taking note of progress and handing over finished project to the client.

But, it will be very limited for you, if you just stop yourself at the level of Diploma, because the Diploma programme is not much valued as the degree programme.
