    A general qualification in Chemistry may not lead you far. In all conventional pursuits, see that you go into depth. I mean to say that you give yourself a research-orientation. Yo carry on research, after your M.Sc. Publish a few papers which are relevant. Then, you will have a satisfying career, once you are awarded Ph.D.

    There are a lot of options after studying in chemistry from a premier institute. (for eg. IIT NIPER)
    IIT-JAM exam for those aspiring for M.Sc. In reputed institute after pursuing B.Sc. Degree. NIPER (National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research ) offers M. S. degree in Medicinal chemistry and M.Tech in Process Chemistry but the eligibility criteria are M.Sc. Completed with qualifying GPAT GATE or CSIR exam. After studying chemistry you can
    1. Join the pharmaceutical industry as a research associate in R&D dept, Q. C dept etc.
    2. Government sector.
