    Hi Mudit,
    It depends. I found a lot of my classmates felt they knew everything before enrolling and were just going through the motions to do it legally. These students often had to get "deprogrammed" in a way, which was very disheartening for many. School equips you with the specific skills to pass the state exam and little else (depending where you go).
    The real training comes with actually working as a licensed cosmetologist. Another major difficulty arrives after graduation, when most have to spend a few years getting a reliable clientele. It can be a long few years with little earnings. But, once you gain a following, you can make
