What are the chances for FMS-Delhi?I'm BE ECE final year student , what colleges suit the best if I get 98percentile in cat 2015 .

Cut off for FMS Delhi was 98.54 last year. If you score 98+, then depending on your profile, you might get shortlists from MDI, new IIMs, etc,. With good percentile, you should have good profile as well.

Hi, Your chances in other colleges like the IIMs depends on your UG percentage, Boards percentage and your interview scores. In case of FMS, it will depend on you getting a shortlist and there on your personal interview and extempore score

Its not just your CAT percentile that counts. Almost all IIMs place some weight to your prior academic performance. For example I know of people who have scored 91 percentile in CAT but had excellent academic record currently studying in IIMB. That said, 98 percentile usually is a borderline case. Y

There is no CAT PI shortlist for IIMs. Candidates have to simply login with their CAT credentials and fill the PI shortlist form.

There is no minimum qualifying marks for CAT. Anybody scoring above 0 in the exam is eligible for admission, however the B-Schools select candidates on the basis of cut offs which are 60 and above percentile.

The final CAT cutoff are not released publically. However, candidates can check qualifying cut offs in the admission criteria document released by IIMs and other institute before the exam.

CAT cut off is prepared by all accepting colleges individually. There is no one authorized body to do so. Even the IIMs determine their admission cut offs separately.
