What are the chances of getting a call from older IIM's? What is the percentile required?

Asked about IIM Ahmedabad - Indian Institute of Management - Master of Business Administration (MBA)

I'm a general non-engineering female. I got 73% in 10th and 83% in 12th (Commerce) and currently pursuing B.Com from BHU FOC. Being a non-engineer what strategies should I follow for my preparation while I have just completed my first year of graduation?

    Hello,
You need to score 99+ percentile to get a call from IIM A, B and C for GDPI. You may get a call from other IIM with CAT percentile of 98 but for IIM A and B, you need to have 99+ percentile.

It is generally assumed that non-engineers strength is not mathematics. If this is the case with you, then you can start with devoting more time to Quantitative aptitude and DILR section of CAT. Then you can continue with your general preparation and mock tests. Being a non-engineer female, you will definitely get added advantage as compared to male engineers. You might get interview calls from old IIMs with 90-95% also.
