If by good package you mean 6-7 lakhs. Chances are good provided you groom yourself keeping in mind the competition. Anything above that requires hard work and networking which you make in the course of the first year in college.

There are very good chances that you end with somewhere around 9lpa, if you are ready to work hard and give your 100%. lot of freshers in ibs get very good packages at par with those who have work-ex.
