    After completing Mtech from an IIT, you can have job opportunity in core companies but for that you have to be very lucky. But software related companies do visits during placements with an average salary of 6 lpa to 8 lpa. If you are good at programming and I mean really good then you can have a job of salary 30 lpa too. Apart from it, state government universities and colleges too visit for recruitment of post of Assistant professor. If you really into research kind of stuff, you have to be really good during your project and research work in second year and then you can apply for PhD in other IITs or in foreign countries.
