If you sit for placements, have should have decent track record in academics with no backlogs to clear than you are sure to be placed. -
The campus placement has declined over the past 2 years. Big companies haven't been visiting campuses at all, it's not about ASCO. So, campus placement is a bit down, but that doesn't affect the fact that one cannot be placed if they apply for jobs themselves. About 75% of a batch get good internships and jobs without an issue.
