Dear Sanjay, My friend passed out from LPU last year and completed his BSc in Game Design. To the best of my knowledge, the highest package offered to the design school at LPU is Rs. 36.5 lakh per annum by SIXT India. The best thing I like about LPU about placement is, they provide placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. With the help of this, they can prepare themselves for placements till the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. Recently, LPU achieved the Guinness World Records title of &quot;Largest online video album of people saying the same sentence,&quot; where students are thanking LPU for making them a part of its LARGEST PLACEMENT NETWORK! LPU received an Employability award by Aspiring Mind in 2020 for best placement Institute in India. LPU is ranked 10th best university for Training and Placement in 2019 by Knowledge Review LPU got the Golden Star Award 2018 for being the University with the best placements in India. Hi,Game designing is an excellent option to go for if you are passionate to learn. Let me share the details and the highlights of this course. B.Design degree in Multimedia from Lovely Professional Univerisity. he is placed in Rockstar games now as Lead Facial Animator. he worked in Red Dead redemption 2 and now working in GTAVI. As his feedbacks, I would like to recommend that LPU is one of the best places in India for Multimedia, Graphics, and Gaming. The faculty members are from the industry like red chilies Studios, Prime focus studios and they have experience of more than 15 years. The multimedia department has a separate block and has well-equipped labs with dell workstations to handle high-end software like adobe after effects, Unity Maya, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Nuke, Fusion, Z brush, photoshop, etc. Even the department has good quality of resources like Black magic cinemas cameras, canon cameras, trolly, jib, and well-equipped special VFX studio with permanent Chroma backgrounds. Placements are also great. This year also his friends and juniors got placed in companies like Amazon, rockstar games, Kony India, Xentrix studios, Lolly POP Design Studio etc. With average packages of 5 Lacs per annum and maximum packages are 8 to 10 Lakh. Department has seprate Gaming studio also where students can play and test the games on Ps4 and xbox 360. Department focus from Game design to execution with complete production pipeline. its 95 percent practical based course with hands-on experience with software like unity, Maya, Substance painter , zbrush etc and live projects too.

As per LPU Statistics, 800+ Recruiters have hired LPU students, Rs 42 Lac the highest Salary package availed with 250+ Companies offering Dream Packages with 110+ Recruiters of IITs/Iims/NITs also hire from LPU along with this Rs 80k the highest Internship Stipend per month was offered. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. Few of the major job roles which are offered to LPU students in the recent years especially in this field are : Game Designer Game programmer Audio engineer; Artist,including concept artist, animator, and 3D modeler Special 3d effects Artist Software Engineer Sr. Software Engineer / Developer / Programmer Software Developer, Games Video Game Programmer Video Game Designer Game Quality assurance tester LPU carefully nurtures its students and propels them to the pinnacle of success so that their hard work culminates to a zenith. Hence LPU has been ranked by NIRF to be among the top 100 universities in 2020.The companies like Amazon, rockstar games, Kony India, Xentrix studios, etc. have recruited LPU students with average packages of 5 Lacs per annum as per my search.Placements are better in this stream at LPU and that what statistics also says.

LPU offers two varieties of courses under gaming section:- (1) B. Sc Design which is for 3 years where the eligibility is: Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or UCEED. (2) B.Design which is for 4 years, where the eligibility is: Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or UCEED.
