What are the Chevening Scholarships at University of Leicester?

<p>The UK government offers <a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/scholarships/chevening-scholarships">Chevening Scholarships to international students</a> who want to apply for one year Masters programmes. These scholarships are open to the applicants from <strong>more than 160 countries </strong>in the world and are looking to study in an eligible one year taught master&rsquo;s degree at a UK institution. The eligibility criteria for the Chevening Scholarships is given as follows:</p><ul><li>The applicant must be a citizen of any country that is eligible for this scholarship.</li><li>The applicant must return to their country of citizenship for a minimum of 2 years after their award has ended</li><li>The applicant must have completed all the components of an undergraduate degree that will enable entry into a postgraduate degree at a UK university.</li><li>The student should have atleast 2 years of work experience which must be equivalent to 2800 hours.</li><li>The student must have applied to three different eligible UK university courses and have received an unconditional offer from one of these choices by <strong>Jul 13, 2023</strong>.</li></ul>
