What are the consequences of pursuing PGDBM diploma that is not recognized by AICTE?

One of my friends did my diploma in management from YMCA,DELHI,is it neither recognised by AICTE nor the affiliated by UGC. but he is doing well with a leading MNC,

Yes it must be recognised by AICTE to get a better job. Because AICTE is a government body which give certification to the colleges after going through varoius thing like infrastructure, faculty, Campus, industrial exposure etc.
