Please remember that you should pursue a stream based on two things : - your career goal - the type of job you want to do Find below few job avenues open in the respective fields : After pursuing biotechnology course, you may find employment as : -Research Scientist -Teacher -Marketing manager -Science Writer -Bioinformists -Quality Control Officer -Production in-charge in the Food, Chemical and Pharmaceutical industry -Analyst (Venture-Capitalist)Environmental / Safety Specialist -Lab technician -Engineer (Chemical, Electrical, Environmental and Industrial) -Sales representative -Marketing -Business development manager As you have studied and shown interest in Biology in 12th, you may take up medicine, dentistry, agricultural science, dairy science or biological sciences (biochemistry, biotechnology). Ma'm even I also had the same query. But I would further like to know where could we get a job employment as a 'Research Scientist' and with what salary? Please suggest a prestigious private institute for the same.
