    Post Graduate (PG) Diploma in Medicine is a programme which can be pursued after completing MBBS degree from an institute recognized by Medical Council of India. Duration of the course can vary from one year to three years, depending on the type of specialty one is pursuing or the institute offering the course. During the course, one learns more about the practical aspects of the course rather than the theoretical aspects of the specialization course one opts for.
