What are the courses offered through AEEL?

AEEL (Amrita entrance exam- life sciences, agriculture and medicine).You can get the previous year question papers from the Amrita vishwa vidyapeetham website and other online websites. You can also visit bookstores near Amrita campus to find the books of previous year question papers and its solutions. 

The AEEL exam is conducted in a computer-based mode (CBT). The total duration of the exam is two hours and the total number of questions is 80. The sections or subjects from which questions are asked are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English. While the core Science subjects will carry 25 questions each, the English section will carry five questions. Each correct question fetches three marks and there is negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer.

Yes, candidates can apply for more than one course through AEEL. In such scenario, the application fee would vary according to the number of courses applied for.

The AEEL 2025 application process started on January 3, 2025. The exam was conducted in May. Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham, Coimbatore may extend the last date of application process based on student requests or other factors. Moreover, in case the AEEL 2025 exam is conducted for more than once, the application window will open separately for each time.
