What are the courses that have merit-based admissions? Is it compulsory to appear in entrance exam for admission?

If I manage to get 90+ in boards, do I still need to give entrance exam?

Courses with merit - based admission are as follows:

+2 courses - admission to +2 courses are primarily merit based with selection made based on class 10th results 

 

Diploma courses
