    The Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT) accepts MET scores for admission to the BTech course. SMIT does not participate in the common counseling of JEE. Seats are allotted on the basis of JEE score under General, NE, Sikkim, Defense and Gorkha Territorial Administration (GTA) category. 
     
    To be eligible for admission to SMIT Sikkim, students must: 
     
    • Have passed 10+2 with 45% marks in PCM
    • Qualify for JEE / MET/ SMET
    For M.Tech, students must: 
     
    • Have passed BE or B.Tech in relevant branches with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks
    • Have valid scores in the GATE/ SMIT Entrance Exam
