A minimum of 50% aggregate marks must be obtained in three subjects: Physics, Biology/Biotechnology/Botany/Zoology (Compulsory), and any other third subject with the highest score.
The cutoff marks for B.Tech differ depending on the college and program. For example, at Anna University, the opening and closing cutoff marks for Computer Science Engineering are 200 and 75, respectively.
