The candidate must earn a minimum of 50% of the possible grades in their BE/B.Tech in a relevant field from an accredited university. GATE-qualified students will be given preference. In addition, to be admitted to the M.Tech program, a candidate must pass the MET (a university-level entrance test). The cut-off for the MET exam varies every year. Candidates with a score of 180 out of 240 are considered to have a good MET score. There is no age limit for the MET exam.
