    The cutoff criteria for MBA varies in different colleges and depends on what type of college you choose like for top colleges the cutoff for MBA is 95%to 97%.there many entrance exam for mba  addmission in top universities.The most popular among all the MBA entrances are CAT (for IIMs and other top B-schools), XAT (XLRI Jamshedpur, XIMB), NMAT (NMIMS Mumbai), SNAP (SIBM Pune, SCMHRD), MICAT (MICA), IIFT (IIFT Delhi, Kolkata), etc.all these have different kind of cutt off accordingly.

    The cutoff criteria for MBA varies in different colleges and depends on what type of college you choose like for top colleges the cutoff for MBA varies from score ranging from 670 to 729 or more with some colleges accepting scores as low as 500. For CAT exam the cutoff for top MBA colleges range from 90 to 99 percentile. The cutoff for reserved category students are lower and in the range of around 95 to 98 percentile.

    The minimum scores needed to be admitted to regular colleges and IIMs for MBA programs differ based on the school, course, and reservation type. The cutoff score in normal institutions is 60–70 percentile in CAT for candidates in the reserved category and 70–80 percentile in CAT for general category applicants. A minimum of 99.95 percentile in the CAT is required for admission to IIMs such as IIT Lucknow, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, and IIM Ahmedabad.
