    The general category students' 98th to 100th percentile CAT cutoffs typically correspond to the top IIMs. The IIM cut offs for students in the reserved category are a little bit lower, at 95 to 98 percentile. The 90–99 percentile range is the CAT cut off for admission to prestigious MBA schools like FMS, MDI, and SPJIMR, among others. IIM Bangalore's CAT cutoffs are in the 97–100 percentile range. For general category students, the qualifying CAT cut off is 85 percentile; for SC applicants, it is 70 %.
