    The cutoff marks for MBBS vary depending on the medical college and the category of the candidate. The general category has a cutoff around the 50th percentile, reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC) around the 40th percentile, and PH candidates around the 45th percentile. The actual cutoff for a given year may be higher or lower, and the National Testing Agency (NTA) provides official NEET-UG counseling results. To secure admission into a top medical college, a score above the 90th percentile is required. If a seat is not secured through the NEET-UG counseling process, applicants should consider applying through the Direct Admission Scheme
