    Merit-based admissions to postgraduate Diploma programmes are made based on a candidate's performance on the entrance exam or qualifying degree examination scores. Students must have graduated from an institution recognised by the UGC with a minimum cumulative grade of 45–50% for the unreserved category and 40–45% for the reserved category in order to be eligible, though there may be additional requirements unique to the institution.
