    The last date for Indian students to submit their applications to the university varies depending on the programme. For master's programs, the application deadline is Dec 01, 2025.

As per student's opinoin we can compare the University of Stavanger and NTNU for petroleum engineering as such. 

  • NTNU is currently safer since it is more well known, but grades and your own performance will matter even more. UiS might be more present locally, which is nice.
  • Research, might actually be UiS, since they want to grow and might specialise more. You have several unemployed tech people in Trondheim, and more abroad competition.
  • NTNU, but like I say, that reputition might be diminishing nationally
