    The only demerit currently is that the developed economies are not able to come out of the economic recession and hence future is highly uncertain. Else, studying abroad has lot many advantages ranging from quality education to quality faculty, from research opportunities to high earning jobsfrom resources to ambience everything.

    They may not be well recognized as your training generally will be in Russian language. Exposure to environments like India may not be possible, I am talking of crowds of patients and the tactics to deal. You have to understand these demerits. I know of Medical graduates from Russia struggling in US for last 2 years and pulling on serviing and managing gas stations and stores.

    Pursuing studies abroad is always a good option, the main reason for seeking a degree from abroad are:
    Getting a better quality of education.
    Improves career opportunities.
    Broaden international experience.
    Gaining exposure to different cultures.
    Please remember since pursuing education abroad involves a huge investment of time and money, so a proper research should be done to select the best universities offering course of your interest.
    You should not simply pursue education abroad just for the sake of going abroad, because not all the universities abroad are good.
