BSc is a pure Science degree with specialisation in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Zoology and Botony. Engineering is professional degree on application of Science. Syllabus of BSc & BTech are different. BTech first year syllabus include few basic Science & Math courses. Second year BTech has common engineering subjects. Third & final BTech has specialisation courses.Engineering has specialisation such as Electrical Mechanical Electronics Civil Metallurgy Aeronautical etc. With BSc employment opportunities are limited. To make career after BSc, you will have to do MSc. BTech has good career opportunities.

Huge difference between bsc and btech.
Bsc is a conventional course from last 55 years in india. Theory is surplus along with practicals. But when it comes about technology which is more practical based. here comes btech. Btech actually provides equipments or practical equipments to bsc you can say. Syllabus are also very different. Job opportunities are more after Btech.
