What are the differences between B.Tech and BE in terms of labour, life and placements?

Hi Shubham, There is no technical difference between b.e and b.tech. Its only the nomenclature which differs. The age old universities mostly awards B.E. to the student who completed graduation in engineering whereas B.Tech is awarded by the comparatively new institutions and universities. Both have equal value in market. Try to get a good college and dont decide on basis of their degree name. All the best. The Training and Placement Unit of the Institute is responsible for providing world class job opportunities to the undergraduate and postgraduate students after graduation for suitable jobs in the industry and various private and public sector organizations. No institute can guarantee you placements. It's just purely based on how you utilize your abilities and skills at the right time. I would suggest you to contact the training and placement department personally for accurate numbers. Salary is a function of various factors - i.e. (i) the institute where you have completed your B.Tech + M.Tech. e.g. a graduate from a top institute will command a higher salary. (ii) Your work experience - organization and type of work profile (iii) city - a metropolitan city will have higher salaries as compared to smaller cities and towns. (iv) Your current organization - i.e. where you will be joining - an MNC usually has higher salaries as compared to other organizations.
