    On doing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) course, you can specialise in a particular subject which is offered. In a normal BA course, there is no specialisation. For example, you can have BA (Hons) in History and can take a specialisation in Psychology or Sociology. Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degrees are closely related to two of the most popular graduation programmes.

    Both courses are three-year undergraduate programmes in the arts and sciences. Furthermore,  BA (Hons) provides specialised knowledge in subjects such as Hindi, English, Economics, LLB, History, Geography, and many more,

    Bachelor of Arts (gen) is a three-year undergraduate degree course which provides a broad and flexible education with a good grounding in one particular subject. This degree provides excellent preparation for employment and acts as a foundation for a wide variety of careers.
    Bachelor of Arts BA in English (Honours) is the more rigorous and academically involved course, and most people who are serious about a career in academics (or even journalism) take it up.
