    Dear Shameem,
    The difference is of acceptance by colleges for admissions
    1.CAT- Accepted by all colleges across india, specifically for IIM"S.
    2. XAT- Conducted by Xavier's and accepted by most of the colleges most of colleges.
    3. MAT generally by pvt colleges

    MAT and CAT are entrance examinations for admission in management school. There are several institutes which accept both.
    CAT is difficult as compared to MAT. MAT is the easier version.
    Course wise there is no difference in the syllabus of two, only the level of questions are different. Questions in CAT are much difficult from those of MAT. CAT is conducted once every year and MAT is conducted four times in a year
