What are the differences between deemed and state universities?

7 years agoDeemed Universities can take their own entrance exam and designs their own semester paper and can't give affiliation to other colleges. It may have its own department. State universities can give affiliation to other colleges as well and they come under state government. -

5 months agoState universities or colleges are those institutes that are affiliated to government colleges under the State government. If you take admission in such colleges then the course curriculum and exam pattern are decided by the state university your college is affiliated with. Deemed universities are institutions that recognized by the Union Grants Commission. They are not affiliated with any other university and they operate with a higher degree of autonomy.
