After you pass intermediate in PCM, you can join B.Tech in different branch of engineering but you have to choose one branch only. The main branches of engineering are civil, electrical, mechanical, computer science, and chemical and petro chemical engineering. Apart from these branches, some branches are also available in some colleges like aeronautical engineering, environmental science, etc.
