LPU offers flexible coursework options-
1) Classes on weekends (Saturday & Sunday only)
2) 4 days course work every month (Preferably every second week: Thu-Sun)
3)15 days course work (November/December)
The eligibility is:
Masters degree with 55% aggregate marks in a relevant discipline or equivalent, subject to clearing LPU NEST and Interview. If you are UGC/NET qualified then you are exempted from LPU NEST but to avail the maximum scholarship it is advisable to appear in LPU NEST. January to April 2022
August to November 2021
Saturdays 03:00 P. M. - 05:00 P. M. Sundays 09:00 A. M. - 04:00 P. M. Option II
4 days* every month
February to May 2022
September to December 2021
09:00 A. M. - 06:00 P. M. (daily)
Option III
15 days
May to June 2022
November to December 2021

Note:
1). Option II & III will be applicable only if each discipline/cluster batch has a minimum of 10 Research Scholars.

Since its inception in 2009, more than 50,000 students are appearing in this exam (LPUNEST) every year. Due to steep spike in infection cases in India and adhering to the central government's guidelines to safeguard health and safety of candidates, conduct of physical test is postponed for now, so currently LPUNEST for Ph.D. would be conducted in online mode only I. e. remotely proctored online LPUNEST from home will be conducted. Hig Vaibhavi, Selected Student will have option to pursue course work in one of the 3 following modes and tentative schedule is mentioned below:
*Option 1: candidate will be asked to come for one complete semester on every Saturday and Sundays. On Saturdays timings will be from 3 PM to 6 PM and on sunday timings are 9 AM to 4 PM. Option 2: candidate can come for four days in every month probably in second week from Thursday to Sunday this month.
