    The candidates can choose preferred electives in the first and second semester of the course. In the first semester, one elective has to be selected. While in the second semester, candidates can choose four electives. Some of the electives included in UPES School of Law LLM Environmental Law and Policy curriculum are:

    First Semester:

    • Energy Economics and Environmental Policy
    • Law and Economic Development
    • IT Governance and Regulation

    Second Semester:

    • Environmental Justice
    • Environmental Jurisprudence
    • Hazardous Waste and Law
    • Biodiversity and Law
    • Law and Sustainable Development
    • Global environment law and climate change
