The eligibility criteria for admission to IISER Pune, apart from national-level entrance exams, include the following requirements:
- Candidates must have passed a Master's in Science or Mathematics or a Bachelor's Degree with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
- For the i-PhD programs, candidates should meet the eligibility criteria specified by the institute and admissions are based on performance in the Personal Interview (PI).
- For the BS-MS program, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent level exam with a Science stream in the current year of application or the year before.
