To be eligible for the Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship at Thakur College Kandivali, the student must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Navbouddha category and be a resident of Maharashtra. Their annual family income should be INR 2,50,000 or less. The student must have passed SSC or an equivalent matriculation exam. If a student fails once, they can still receive exam fees and maintenance allowance, but failing twice in the same class makes them ineligible. The scheme applies to students studying both within and outside Maharashtra.
