<p>The eligibility criteria for admission to Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Institute of Technology and Sports Complex for BTech in CSE are:</p> <ul> <li>Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a Council/Board recognised by the State Government / Central Government concerned, with Individual pass marks (in both theory &amp; practical wherever applicable) in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with (Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science / Computer Application) having minimum of 45% marks in the above subjects taken together (40% for Reserve Category candidates) as well as pass in English with a minimum of 30% marks (for all categories of candidates) in the said qualifying examination.</li> <li>Passed Minimum Three years / Two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology in AICTE Approved Diploma college.</li> <li>Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognised University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.</li> <li>Passed B.Voc/3-year D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector (The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the programme).</li> </ul>
