<p>The eligibility criteria for admission to Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering are:</p> <ul> <li>Passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one subject from Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.</li> <li>Obtained at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the above subjects taken together.</li> <li>Alternatively, passed 3 years Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) subject to vacancies in the First Year. </li> </ul> <p>For Lateral Entry to 2nd year, the criteria are: * Passed Minimum THREE years / TWO years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology (except Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy and Architecture) from the institution recognised by BTEUP or equivalent. * Alternatively, passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognised University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.</p>
