- Minimum 50% marks for unreserved/EWS categories, 45% for unreserved handicapped, and 40% for reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC) in 12th class
- Passed 12th class with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, along with separate passing marks in English and Hindi
- Reserved categories have a 5% relaxation
- Candidate must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the examination year
